It is the responsibility of the Church to reach the Lost Youths. To reach India for Christ, We should reach the Youths for Christ. The end time revival in Indiais going to come Through the Youth of our days. Today’s youths are the leaders of tomorrow.

 

INTRODUCTION

For the nation of India (with 1050 million population) to be won for Christ is not an easy task, because it is a very tough battle between the kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness. Out of 1050 million people not less than 550 million are under 18 years of age. A vast majority of them are presently studying in a school or college or university in these areas. Research says 80-85 percent of all the people who have come to Christ, did so when they were less than 18 years of age. This hand book will give you an insight of the Shinning Stars Youth Mission which will inspire you to pray for India and our Youth ministries. The present Youth are the hope of the nation and they determine the future of our generation. The Educators, Scientists, and Political leaders may try to uplift, but in reality they would fail as they will not be able to uplift the spiritual aspect of the people. Only Jesus Christ can make the difference and only through prayer it will be accomplished. Prayer gives access to the presence of God. God always opens heaven when we pray. Prayer is fellowshipping with God. God delights in our fellowship with Him. Prayer is God’s ordained means for extending God’s kingdom on earth and for defeating lucifer and his empire of darkness and evil. Prayer is God’s means of covering this nation with His blessings. Prayer is powerful and it has all the force of God in it. John Wesley the founder of Methodist Church and a great Revivalist said, “Give me 100 young men who  fear nothing but sin and desire nothing but God and I care not a straw whether they be clergy or laymen, such alone will shake the gates of hell and set up the kingdom of heaven on earth."  God does nothing," but in answer to prayers”. If you want to help our nation India, the best thing you can do is to pray for the Youths who are the potential leaders in the days to come.

Shining Stars Youth Mission is dedicated to Revival and Evangelism, functioning since 2006.

Our objectives are;

  • To assist the Churches in challenging the Youth for holy living and bold witnessing;
  • To labour for revival among Christians leading to active involvements in neighborhood evangelism and pioneer missionary work;
  • To lead God’s people to maturity with a working knowledge of the Scripture;
  • To establish witnessing groups in schools and colleges
  • training programes and Campus cells are organized for Bible Study and prayer.
  • Youths teams are sent to unevangelized field to catch a missionary vision.

Shining Stars Youth Mission involved in crosscultural missionary evangelism leading to Church planting, and other revival ministries. Medical Literacy and relief works are incorporated appropriately. the organizational structure of the mission is kept simple. A Board of Directors, in which no paid staff of the mission is a member, holds and legal ownership of the mission. T. Benjamin, a Pastor with the Eternal Life Church, is the Founder & Director. The head office is in Pamban, Rameswaram Island, Tamil Nadu State, South India. The Mission maintains as interdenominational stand. It considers itself as a supplement to the local  Church and not a substitute. The mission accepts voluntary contributions from Christians of any nationality. Personally speaking

It is a Great Honor and Privilege to share about me with You. I am Pastor. T. Benjamin was born to parents of Rev. P. T. Thomas Kutty and Mary Thomas in Trivandrum, Kerala State, South India. I am the eldest Son in our family. I have only one younger Sister. Hepzibah, and married with Pastor.D.Shadrach doing ministry powerfully through Mahanaim Mission in India. I am privileged to be born and brought up in a Christian family here in India. According to the divine plan of God, even before my birth my parents dedicated me for the Lord’s work. Since they had dedicated me for the work of the Lord, they were extremely careful that I should be nurtured in godly activities. As I grew up, my parents began to motivate me that I should become a servant of God, the designation that I hated the most in my life at this time. My only aim was to become a Doctor. At the  age of sixteen, I was altogether exposed to a new world of friendship and began to mingle with more friends. This exposure thrilled me but slowly this succumbed me into the pleasures of the world. It blinded my eyes and had taken me away from God. At last I landed on the final frontier where I could feel a great chasm in my heart. Fear clouded my life. But my Christian heritage beckoned me to search for hope and light amidst those exasperated moments. At this dire situation of hopelessness in the year 2000, the Lord gave me an wonderful opportunity to participate in the Blessing Youth Mission’s Camp at Salem, Tamil Nadu State, South India. On the third day God’s word came to me powerfully and I was convinced of my sinful life. On that same day I accepted Jesus as my personal Saviour and dedicated my life for the Lord’s service. Just because of by the faith and prayers of my parents and the Church. Immediately after my conversion experience I went to Theological Studies of Bachelor of Theology during the year of 2000 – 2003. and Graduated in the year of 2003 from the Grace Bible College and Seminary, Gurgaon, Haryana State, North India. Now also I am doing Master of Divinity (M.Div) at Harvest International Bible College in Tamil Nadu, India Right after my B.Th. studies I went all over India to share the Gospel with Children, Young people and families. Working in Schools, through Churches, on Camps and holidays by training and I make Jesus Known. And In the year of 2003 I was appointed as a Pastor to the Eternal Life Church, Rameswaram Island, Tamil Nadu State, South India. And In the year of 2005 God has enabled me to go foreign countries like  Malaysia and Singapore to preach and teach the Gospel to the unreached and Youths in the Churches. After that God gave me a clear vision in the year 2006 and the Shinning Stars Youth Mission was founded to reach the unreached multitudes of Youth with the light of the Gospel. When I was in the Throne of grace at Early Morning, God had put the burden in my heart about the Shining Stars Youth Mission according to The Bible Scripture Isaiah 60: 1-3. 1. Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you. 2. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the Lord will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. 3. The Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising. My Father Rev. P.T. Thomas Kutty is the Senior Pastor of Eternal Life Church, Rameswaram Island, Tamil Nadu State, South India. He has been in the ministry more than 25 years and accepted Jesus Christ in the age of 17 from atheism who says there is no God. He is well known and well Respected by the Christian Ministers and among the Societies. And my mothers name is Mary Thomas helping in the ministry. She is a hard worker, and takes care of the women and counsels them in the Church. She is a very Prayerful women. My only passion and vision is to reach each and every youth and flood them with Gospel. Everyday God  is proving faithful by His guidance. Warm Greetings to all the prayer warriors in the love of God who has graciously called us to proclaim his mercies.  I consider this as a privilege to introduce to you,

 " Shining Stars Youth Mission"

that focuses exclusively on the college and university campuses of our nation. I came to know the Lord during my childhood days. I came to the ministry with a burden and vision to reach the college students. Today the society has changed much due to vast scientific and technological advancements. There is a tremendous growth in various specialized fields of education and this has happened in a very short span of time. Most of the Churches and Mission organization are concentrating much on poor and uneducated masses of our society. It is high time we need to reach the educated masses also with the gospel. The Youths of our days are being hooked by satanic forces and are kept in bondage to lustful entertainments, drugs, mobile phones, e-mails, pornography through internet, SMS and so on. Fifty percent of our nation population is less than 18 years of age. We must earnestly pray that within five years from now this group should be touched by the power of our Lord’s glorious gospel. If they get saved at this age, they will serve the Lord for many fruitful years. If the college and university Youths get saved, it is for certain, that our nation will experience a mighty transformation, because they are the future leaders of our nation and of our Church. We need to seek the Lord diligently in prayer for the following things.

  • For a mighty Holy Spirit revival to sweep across the Campuses of our nation.
  • For God to give a spiritual thirst to the young people of our Churches to reach this generation for Christ.
  • For all the pastors and leaders of our Churches and mission organizations to get the vision to reach the campuses.
  • For all the Churches to have ministry to reach the Youths in their community.
  • For all the teachers, graduates and professionals in our Churches to get involved in reaching the Youths for the Lord.
  • To pray for the salvation of the unreached mass of students in our nation, is the need of our hour.
  • I request to you to join us in Prayer at least for an hour in everyday, right from where you are. God honours a united cry. AMEN !

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of miracles, I extend my loving greetings to you! I am very much happy to contact you through this web page. I am Pastor. T. Benjamin, Director of Shinning Stars Youth Mission, Rameswarm Island, India. I believe that all of you and your family members are keeping well. By the grace of God, the Shinning Stars Youth Mission family is doing well. It is by your prayers that have been supporting us. Having heard your prayers the Lord has been guiding our ministry miraculously in India. Praise the Lord! As you may know about India, it has 110 crore/million of population. But most of them are Hindus. The Christians are  very few in percentage. We have been sincerely applying the soul winning plan to win the souls from our community in Rameswaram Island. Hindus are accepting the Lord Jesus Christ and worshipping Him in our church. We lead the Hindus to the love of Christ. God has been very gracious in our outreach so we have been adding new people. Almost 100 Hindu converts worship the living Lord every week. You may not know that we are now in a small rented place for the worship. The people are sitting in the sand only. Now the Landlord is not allowing us to worship the Lord Jesus Christ and also told me to vacate the worship place. Because some Hindu terrorists have threatened him. In Rameswaram Island, last week 25 Hindu terrorists came to me and threatened me: “We will kill you unless you convert to Hindu.” So I need your prayers more for me and for the Church believers in Rameswaram Island and for the protection of me and Believers. Because this Rameswaram Island called as “Holy Land of Hindu” and Asia's Largest Hindu temple also built here. So People come here to worship Hindu pagan god and goddesses from all over  India and also from abroad.

So now we pray and plan to buy land to build the Temple of God. But , we are in financial crisis because our believers are very poor to lead their family everyday. When they accept Jesus Christ as their Personal Saviour, the society people reject them in all areas of their lives. So we have been praying to the Lord to meet the needed money to buy Land and to build the Church. So, it is my humble request and appeal that you prayerfully consider to help buy a Land for Church Building, kindly help us and support us as much as possible for you.
